There was a time when we compare the cables with satellite TV but that debate is over because the satellite TV system has too many benefits compared to cable TV nowadays. Wider programming options, better picture and audio quality, cheaper monthly cost… these are the main advantages of satellite TV service that cable doesn’t offer.

However, though satellite TV seems to be a great deal in many aspects, there are still some negative issues that we may experience if we subscribe with dish TV services.

For instant, for the cheap subscription cost - consumers are all familiar with the deals offered by Dish Network or Direct TV, which offer us with hundred of channels with subscription fee of $20 to $30 per month. The deals seem great. Nevertheless, what consumer failed to notice is that the good channels are not included in those standard packages. If you prefer those good channels, you would have to pay extra for it. For customers who prefer to have special channels like NFL live matches, premium movie channels and HDTV packages, they would have to pay up to$60 to $80 per month. hence, look twice before deciding for the packages when you plan to acquire satellite TV.

Another disturbing factor about satellite TV is the weather. The weather could really disturb the signal transmission for the satellite TV system. Heavy rain or snow would usually cause satellite TV service to be unavailable. However, this disturbance I usually short term. Nevertheless, when it happens, it would disrupt your viewing pleasure.

Dish Network and DirecTV offers are lack of bundle service when compare with the cables. Unlike cable TV which has additional service like cable broadband and cable radio. This bundle service is widely popular because of its overall value. On the other hand, satellite TV does no have much to be added on. hence, the satellite TV system is solely for your TV entertainment purposes.
